The SOLE reason for bothering to have a website is
… to have it perform in a Google search result!
A web designer is not in any hurry to tell you that.
If all you expect is to have someone Google your name or your law firms name into Google and check you out… that beats a blank.. but you’re missing the point.
The only way that helps put money in your cash register is if some external impetus causes potential clients to Google you, they would have to already know who you are for that to do you any good

Your attorney website isn’t a profit center unless when a potential client Google’s “bankruptcy lawyer in kalamazoo” or “divorce lawyer in cincinnati” and Google shows them how much Google considers YOU as the top dog in your city/ county/ municipality/ geographical area
